This weekend, from September 26th to 29th, 2024, Jonesboro, Indiana, will come alive with the thunderous roar of engines as the Jonesboro River Rally returns. For nearly two decades, this event has attracted around 15,000 motorcyclists from across the U.S. and beyond, transforming this small town into a lively hub of motorcycle culture.
This year’s rally offers an exciting mix of bike shows, stunts, contests, live music, and the ever-popular moto rodeo. Vendors and delicious food, alongside non-stop entertainment, ensure there’s something for everyone. Event Highlights:
Thursday, September 26th: Vendor setup and Appreciation Dinner, followed by the Pat Mitchell Memorial Ride honoring the family of Jeff Fields.
Friday, September 27th: Rock out to live performances by Andy & the All-Nighters, Anthony Ray Wright Band, and Karen Wehr & Friends.
Saturday, September 28th: The action-packed day features the Jonesboro Fire Department Breakfast, Moto Rodeo, Audio Competition, and Bike Show. Don’t miss performances by Fiery Entertainment, The Fierce, Live Wire, and 13th Floor, Indiana’s hottest rock band.
Sunday, September 29th: The rally concludes with a Christian Motorcycle Association Church Service and the legendary Waldo Ride—a beloved tradition among motorcyclists near and far.

Fairmount’s Grand Parade – Don’t Miss This!
Be sure to head over to Fairmount this Saturday at 2 PM for the James Dean Festival Grand Parade. On the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service float, you’ll see a true vintage gem: Barney’s 1958 Harley-Davidson Pan Head. This classic beauty was the first Harley to feature rear shocks, earning it the name Duo-Glide due to its revolutionary hydraulic suspension, front and rear. It’s a stunning piece of motorcycle history that you won’t want to miss!

IMPS Fundraiser Update – We Need Your Help!
We’re pushing forward with our fundraising efforts to reach our $150K goal for the restoration of the historic Glenn Scott Harley-Davidson building in Marion, Indiana. This iconic building will be transformed into a museum, restoration shop, and community space, preserving the rich motorcycle heritage of Indiana.
